Broadcom strikes financing deal to supply AI chips to Anthropic

Broadcom announced a financing agreement on Oct. 27, 2026, that will give AI company Anthropic access to its AI chips. The news lifted Broadcom's shares and helped lead U.S. stocks higher.

The S&P 500 rose 0.6%, while the Nasdaq composite gained 1.2%. The Dow Jones Industrial Average edged up less than 0.1%.
