Rokid Launches Rokid Glasses 2 with Enhanced Camera, Battery and AI Meeting Notes

By AI123

On October 27, Rokid introduced the Rokid Glasses 2, a new pair of display-equipped AI glasses. It features a 12MP CMOS sensor with HDR and RAW 14 support, a 1GM5P hybrid glass-plastic lens, and 4K video capture, currently in 9:16 portrait at 30fps. It also supports 2K at 60fps, with a 120fps slow-motion mode planned via a later OTA update.

The frame has a rounded-square shape, a larger soft nose pad, and temples that extend outward, while the optical module is smaller than the previous generation for a more ordinary-glasses look up front.

Battery capacity has increased by 263mAh, or 25%, thanks to silicon-anode and lamination technology. The optional Leqi Charging Capsule 2 provides 2170mAh in total and can charge the glasses up to six times.

For AI features, the upgraded meeting summary can pair audio recording with photos taken by the glasses to create a text-and-image summary. Rokid also previewed OTA updates including real-time call translation and “AI all-day recall,” which records what the wearer sees during the day and organizes a review in the evening. The companion app includes an agent store, with WorkBuddy assistant accessible via remote control and the glasses’ heads-up display.

The Rokid Glasses 2 starts at 3,699 yuan. The company also introduced the full-color waveguide glasses Rokid Color, starting at 4,599 yuan, and the smart ring Rokid Ring, priced at 1,699 yuan.
