Former GitHub CEO’s agent-first developer platform Entire goes live
Entire, the agent-first developer platform founded by former GitHub CEO Thomas Dohmke, launched on October 27, 2026. Built on Entire's decentralized Git network announced in July 2026, the platform is designed to handle the surge in AI-driven coding activity that has contributed to repeated GitHub outages.
Entire's key departure from traditional workflows is replacing pull requests with Trails. Instead of reviewing code changes through a diff, Trails provide a pilot-style heads-up display with customized evals that agents score on every code push. Developers can review progress through the open-source Entire CLI while coding agents iterate on findings, then merge code once all evals pass. The company says the agents are customizable and each trail shows how tokens are spent.
The company also claims Git hosting on its decentralized network is up to 89 times faster than GitHub and six times faster than Cursor origin, with support for private repositories in the US, India, Australia, and the EU. A feature called Continuous Memory keeps developer session logs alongside code, which Entire says can reduce token use by up to 71%. Entire is now available for all developers to try.
