Anthropic unveils reporting tools to help enterprises measure AI spending value

By AI123

Anthropic launched a new suite of reporting tools on October 28, 2026, aimed at giving enterprise customers a more granular view of what their token spending delivers. Built on internal analytics and employee surveys, the tools let managers review a team's output, costs, and workflow bottlenecks over a defined date range, along with recommendations for improving results. Anthropic said the data will not be used for model training by default, and introduced pooled group budgets to help teams better manage token spending.

The launch is part of Anthropic's push to demonstrate the return on investment of its AI tools to enterprise customers. Financial figures the company shared with investors this week showed an operating profit in the second quarter of 2026 and 900% net revenue retention. Businesses have been seeking this kind of insight as they assess AI deployments. A Jellyfish report based on 276,000 customers found Claude Code and other Anthropic-powered tools remained the most widely used agentic coding tools, with spending on them up 10x since the start of 2026 and equal to about 2% of total engineering cost.
