Researchers at Israel's Weizmann Institute of Science have developed an AI model, Brain-IT, that reconstructs image content from fMRI data recorded while people view images. The model can learn to decode a new subject's brain activity in about an hour and reproduces image details more accurately; the research has been accepted to ICLR.
