Diffusion language model startup DiffuSpace has completed a funding round of several hundred million RMB, reportedly the largest ever for the diffusion language model direction. The round was co-led by Jingwei, Shunwei, and Junlian, with participation from Zhongke Chuangxing, Huawei Hubble, and Horizon Robotics. Founder Kong Lingpeng is a professor at the University of Hong Kong. The company announced plans to release a larger model in October.
