TII has released Falcon-ASR, a 1.6B-parameter Arabic speech recognition model focused on Emirati dialect, also supporting English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. It achieves a 20.92% average WER across six Arabic test sets, beating the best published result of 23.17%, and supports word-level timestamps.
