According to documents disclosed this month in the EU Digital Markets Act transparency database, Apple has entered into an acqui-hire and technology licensing agreement with AI audio startup Huxe, allowing it to hire specific Huxe employees and obtain a non-exclusive license to Huxe's IP without acquiring the company. Financial terms were not disclosed, and it marks Apple's fourth publicly disclosed AI-related deal in 2026.
