Google plans to launch its experimental satellite MVP into orbit on Oct 1. The satellite carries four TPU units with total compute power equivalent to a server, allowing it to handle simple AI queries directly in space. It is part of Project Suncatcher and will be launched by SpaceX's Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Space Force Base.
