On October 13, 2026, the China-EU Seminar on Copyright Protection in the Digital Environment was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia. Co-hosted by the National Copyright Administration of China and the EU-China Intellectual Property Project, the seminar focused on copyright governance in the digital environment, China-EU legislative and enforcement practices, and copyright protection in the era of generative AI. Participants called for attaching importance to and regulating AI, and improving supporting rules through the revision of the Implementation Regulations of the Copyright Law.
