Tata Communications announced plans to invest $400-450 million to build about 10,000 km of AI-ready long-haul optical fiber in India in three phases, connecting major AI data centers. The first phase will link Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad and Chennai, with later expansion to Visakhapatnam, Bhubaneswar, Jamnagar and GIFT City.
