Deloitte released a survey on Wednesday showing 52% of respondent CFOs expect to use AI to cut jobs in the next year, 67% believe only a quarter of the expected AI transformation has been achieved so far, and only one-third expect AI to improve profit margins in the coming year. The survey ran from Sept. 17 to Oct. 1 and covered 66 CFOs.
Deloitte released its first generative AI workplace survey, showing that one in six UK employees pays for AI tools out of pocket, with annual spending approaching £1 billion; two-thirds have tried tools such as ChatGPT, 31% use "shadow AI," and 17% pay for subscriptions.
