ASML has notified Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix of a uniform 10% price increase for replacement parts supplied in South Korea, covering all EUV and DUV lithography machine components, effective January 2027.
ASML Executive Vice President Frank Heemskerk said on September 21 that the company has no chipmaking equipment sales in Europe due to a lack of investment and new fab construction, adding that other countries are competing with incentives to attract ASML investment.
