The University of Hong Kong and the Global Cyber Security Alliance have jointly established the Centre for AI and Cybersecurity Research, with Chen Hao as acting director. The institute will focus on model-native security and trustworthy AI, AI-driven automated threat defense, security assessment of frontier technologies, and global AI safety standards and governance, and plans to release research findings, safety benchmarks, and open-source tools.
