PAL Robotics

ARI is PAL Robotics' social robot, delivering dynamic information to customers, running promotions and supporting HRI research while building meaningful connections with ease. Expressive eyes, lighting effects, gaze behaviour and a range of gestures draw crowds; it detects and recognises people and performs speech and intent recognition, with multilingual speech recognition and synthesised dialogue. The interactive touchscreen presents proprietary multimedia content, games or questionnaires. GDPR-compliant and privacy-conscious, its AI algorithms integrate easily on its own computing platform. It stands 165 cm tall with 8-12 hours of runtime, a 10.1-inch 1200 x 800 touchscreen, Ubuntu LTS with a real-time operating system, and is open-source.
