PAL Robotics

StockBot is PAL Robotics' autonomous RFID inventory robot for retail stores and e-commerce warehouses, delivering counting accuracy and visibility beyond manual methods. The body is 46 cm wide and 183 cm tall, with two RAIN RFID readers and eight antennas reading up to 4 m high and locating items to within 0.5 m. Continuous operation lasts about 10 hours, after which it returns to its dock to recharge in 5 hours. Inventory tasks are scheduled through the PAL WebGUI and can run among customers during opening hours; data reaches ERP/WMS systems through standard APIs, producing inventory discrepancy reports with tag positions that reveal misplaced and out-of-stock items and inform merchandising decisions. Proven deployments include DECATHLON and TENDAM.
