UnitreeThe Unitree R1-A is a lightweight dual-arm humanoid weighing about 11-13 kg, built around one-machine-many-uses versatility. End effectors such as a two-finger gripper or a three- or five-finger dexterous hand can be swapped in seconds, with gripper repeatability of ±0.1 mm, so a new tool means a new task. Dual-arm payload is 2-4 kg and peak shoulder torque is 60 N·m, enough for benchtop picking and sorting. Control interfaces for the arms, vision, audio and lighting are all open, so custom development is unrestricted. An 8-core CPU is fitted in both the body and the head, the head additionally provides 10 TOPS of compute, and modules such as Orin are optional. A5 and A7 variants are offered, along with -D models on a lifting chassis.
