Threads redesigns in-app analytics with Meta AI-powered summaries
Meta has redesigned the insights panel in Threads, adding AI-powered summaries that provide contextual information about post performance and account activity.
The AI-generated summaries highlight whether metrics such as views, reach and likes are "higher," "lower" or "typical" compared with a user's recent posts. For example, one summary noted that a post received about 8 times more views than recent posts and reached a wider audience, while fewer viewers liked it.
The panel continues to display granular stats including views, viewers, likes and reposts, and now also shows which communities are driving engagement on a particular post. At the profile level, insights offer a broader overview, such as monthly performance, audience demographics and the best days and times for reach.
However, link-click statistics remain absent from the updated analytics. Meta had introduced link performance details last year, but the metric has since been removed. A Meta spokesperson said the company is "exploring" the feature, without commenting on why it was dropped.
