Honor Unveils MagicOS 11 with System-Level Agent Harness for Smartphones
On September 15, Honor unveiled MagicOS 11 at its global developer conference, describing it as the industry's first mobile operating system to commercially deploy a system-level agent harness. The system integrates underlying model capabilities with on-device perception, planning, invocation, and execution, shifting smartphones from responding to commands to autonomously completing complex tasks.
The YOYO assistant in MagicOS 11 supports long-horizon tasks of more than 100 steps and can call over 700 tools, with a comprehensive intent understanding accuracy of 91.8% and 87% accuracy on complex tasks. It also integrates Home Assistant, allowing users to control smart home devices across ecosystems and brands via voice commands, with a task completion rate of 90%. YOYO's proactive services now cover more than 1,000 scenarios, with access to over 10,000 third-party AI services.
Honor said the YOYO Harness architecture can serve all system-level applications and accelerate the AI evolution of the operating system. The company plans to evolve MagicOS toward an agentic OS with intent-driven interaction, natural interaction, proactive intelligence, and cross-device connectivity.
