Anthropic and Salesforce CEOs: Enterprise AI Adoption Still Early, Economic Value Largely Untapped

Speaking on Sept. 15, Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei and Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said enterprise adoption of AI remains at an early stage. Amodei said only about 5% to 10% of AI's potential economic value is currently being realized.

Benioff said Salesforce has about 7,000 employees using enterprise tools integrated with Anthropic's Claude models. He noted that AI adoption varies significantly across companies, and Salesforce needs to help customers accelerate their AI transformation.

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang said market forces will constrain AI safety and no new laws or regulations are needed. OpenAI CEO Sam Altman said he believes AI companies and the industry as a whole are capable of safely advancing technology.
