Robinhood VP to speak on AI and the modern financial consumer at Disrupt 2026

By AI123

Abhishek Fatehpuria, Robinhood's vice president of product management for brokerage, will take the Smart Money Stage at TechCrunch Disrupt 2026, running October 13-15 at Moscone West in San Francisco. His talk, “Winning the Modern Financial Consumer,” will examine how technology and shifting expectations are reshaping financial services and what it takes to build trusted products at massive scale.

Robinhood, once synonymous with commission-free stock trading, has expanded into investing, banking, credit, crypto, retirement, and prediction markets, while recent launches have pushed further into AI, private markets, and international expansion. The company reported 28.6 million funded customers and $384 billion in total platform assets at the end of August 2026.

On the AI front, Robinhood is experimenting with AI-powered investing tools including Cortex and Agentic Trading. In Q2, nearly 100,000 customers had opened Agentic Trading accounts, which let users trade equities, options, and crypto through AI-powered agents. The company also said Robinhood Banking had attracted more than $3 billion in deposits, its credit card business surpassed $100 million in annualized revenue, and prediction markets had traded more than 3.5 billion contracts through that point.

Fatehpuria's session is expected to draw on the challenges of expanding a product organization while keeping the customer experience simple and trustworthy. Disrupt 2026 is expected to bring together more than 10,000 founders, investors, and tech decision-makers.
