Alibaba to Launch Qwen Intelligence AI Phone Solution at Apsara Conference

On September 22, Alibaba announced at the Apsara Conference that its AI phone full-stack solution, Qwen Intelligence, will be launched during the event. The solution is deeply optimized for mobile scenarios and offers partners an Agent technology platform based on the Qwen large language model, allowing phones to handle complex cross-app tasks more reliably.

The announcement is part of Alibaba's broader push to bring large models to terminal devices. During the conference, the company also unveiled upgrades to its Qwen-Audio-3.1 voice model family, including ASR, TTS, and real-time interaction models, as well as the new Qwen3.8-LiveTranslate simultaneous interpretation model, which reduces translation latency to under 2.5 seconds.

These voice models have been integrated into products such as Qianwen Office, Qoder, QwenNote A2, QwenNote Eva desktop robot, and Qianwen AI glasses. With Qwen Intelligence, Alibaba extends its terminal-side AI offerings to the smartphone segment.
