Musk: Broad Knowledge Is Key to Asking Better Questions in the AI Era

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla, said in an interview with China Central Television on Sept. 23, 2026, that education in the AI era should encourage broad learning across humanities, arts, science and engineering.

He noted that giving instructions to robots requires the ability to structure questions, and that a broader knowledge base helps people ask better questions — essentially writing prompts for AI.
