Google, OpenAI and Anthropic Push Forward With Frontier AI Safety Standards Body

On September 24, sources familiar with the matter said Google, OpenAI and Anthropic are advancing plans to establish a new AI safety standards body, tentatively named the Standards Authority for Frontier AI.

The three companies are all leading AI firms. Details about the body's specific functions and structure have not been disclosed so far.
