Razer Launches Kiyo V2 Pro Webcam With 4K 60fps and AI Auto-Framing

By AI123

Razer has introduced the Kiyo V2 Pro webcam, priced at $300 and available now from Razer.com and other retailers. The biggest upgrade is support for 4K video capture at 60 fps, which helps reduce blur during work calls, livestreams, and other uses.

The webcam uses Sony's 8.3-megapixel STARVIS 2 sensor, the same one found in Elgato's latest 4K webcam, paired with a lens that opens to f/1.9 for improved low-light performance and stronger bokeh. Razer also says the camera can capture ultra-high dynamic range to retain more detail in various lighting conditions. The field of view has been narrowed from 93 degrees on the Kiyo V2 to 86 degrees, a change the company says helps maintain image quality at 4K and reduce fisheye effects at the frame edges.

AI features include auto-framing, which uses intelligent pan, tilt, and zoom to keep users centered in the frame, similar to the effect seen on recent iPhones' FaceTime calls. A one-click output enhancement automatically handles exposure, white balance, and noise based on the environment. The Kiyo V2 Pro also works with Razer Synapse for software-level control over ISO, shutter speed, and more.

The package includes a clamp for monitor and laptop edges, a universal mount for tripods, and an integrated privacy shutter. The Kiyo V2 Pro is now on sale at Razer.com and other retailers for $300.
