Google Adds Colab Premium Benefits to AI Subscription Plans

Google has announced that Google AI subscribers will now receive Google Colab premium benefits, including Colab compute units and access to higher-performance GPU and TPU cloud resources.

Google Colab is a managed Jupyter Notebook service that requires no installation and allows users to write and run Python code on cloud compute resources. With the new integration, Google AI Ultra members can use Premium GPUs and uninterrupted background execution, enabling long-running AI model training tasks without keeping a browser tab open.

Existing Colab Pro and Pro+ subscriptions remain unaffected. Users can subscribe to both plans, and their Colab compute units will be combined. The new benefits will roll out to eligible markets in the coming weeks.
