MINISFORUM Launches MS-S1 MAX-P495 Mini AI Workstation with 192GB Memory

On September 28, 2026, MINISFORUM began selling its new mini AI workstation, the MS-S1 MAX-P495. The system is built around AMD's Ryzen AI Max+ PRO 495 processor and comes with 192GB of onboard LPDDR5X-8533 memory, up to 160GB of which can be allocated as VRAM, along with a 2TB SSD.

The workstation is priced at 51,999 yuan in China during a limited-time promotion, while the overseas promotional price is $7,399. It shares the same chassis design as the original MS-S1 MAX, featuring a quick-release slide rail, a 320W internal power supply, and a cooling solution with phase-change TIM, copper base, six heat pipes, and two fans, supporting 120W sustained and 160W peak performance. Multiple units can be combined or deployed in rack-mount configurations.

For expansion, it offers one PCIe Gen4 x4 slot, two M.2 sockets (Gen4 x4 and Gen4 x1), Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth, and an AI noise-cancelling microphone. Front I/O includes a 3.5mm audio jack and two USB-C 40Gbps ports, while the rear provides two 10GbE RJ-45 ports, two USB-C 80Gbps ports, two USB-A 10Gbps ports, and two USB-A 480Mbps ports, plus HDMI 2.1 (FRL).
