BlueDot Touch Showcases Full Force-Sensor Lineup at IROS 2026

By AI123

BlueDot Touch, a Chinese force sensor maker, showcased a full range of mass-produced force sensors at the robotics conference IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh on Sept. 28. The lineup included six-axis force sensors for humanoid robots, general-purpose six-axis force sensors, joint torque sensors, and tension-compression force sensors.

According to the company, the exhibited products feature self-developed high-performance elastomer design, embedded hardware circuits, high-precision structural decoupling algorithms, and six-axis synchronous calibration, with a five-times overload capacity. They are designed for humanoid robots, collaborative robots, and industrial robots.

A market report released by CCID Consulting and China Electronics News showed that in 2025, the top three domestic manufacturers held a combined 92.8% share of China's humanoid robot six-axis force sensor market. BlueDot Touch led with more than 80%, followed by Kunwei Technology at 9.2% and Yuli Instrument at 3.3%.

Six-axis force sensors are widely seen as a key component for robots to achieve flexible manipulation. BlueDot Touch said its technology breakthroughs and scaled production have reduced the cost of high-end six-axis force sensors to about 10,000 yuan, helping remove a core cost barrier for global humanoid robot deployment.
