Zhiyuan Deploys Lingxi X2 Humanoid Robots in 100 Aishida Stores for Real-World Retail Service
On September 28, 2026, robotics company Zhiyuan and cookware brand Aishida officially launched their retail cooperation, starting a three-day livestream at Aishida stores in Wenling, Shanghai and Wuxi. The stream ran 10 hours a day from 10:00 to 20:00, showcasing Lingxi X2's capabilities in customer reception, demand understanding, product guidance and human-robot collaboration.
During the livestream, the Lingxi X2 served as a “store promoter,” handling customer reception, answering questions, introducing products, recommending items and guiding shoppers. It matched cookware recommendations based on factors such as family size, cooking habits and budget. For discounts, inventory checks and final transactions, the robot worked with on-site sales staff to complete the handoff.
Zhiyuan said 100 Lingxi X2 units have been deployed in Aishida's 100 stores across the country, operating in real retail scenarios. The company said the continuous live operation helped move embodied intelligence from single-point demonstrations and pilot applications toward real stores, larger-scale deployment and routine operations, exploring what it called a “retail deployment” path.
On July 6, 2026, Aishida and Zhiyuan Innovation signed a comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement covering scenario deployment and ecosystem collaboration. The two sides plan to build real-world training bases and jointly develop vertical embodied large models for industrial and retail sectors, while establishing supply-chain and technical coordination mechanisms to bring robots into more factory and store settings.
