Sharpa unveils D01 robot, W02 dexterous hand and AE01 data glove at IROS 2026

By AI123

At IROS 2026 in Pittsburgh on September 28, Sharpa introduced three new products: the D01 integrated tactile-aware dexterous manipulation robot, the W02 full-tactile ultra-compact lightweight dexterous hand, and the AE01 high-fidelity exoskeleton tactile data glove. The products target robot action execution, fine manipulation and teleoperation data collection, respectively, and were demonstrated live at the conference.

The D01 is equipped with full-body electronic skin and achieves a repeatability of 0.2 mm. The W02 integrates 21 active degrees of freedom, is about 30% smaller than the previous generation, and provides full-palm tactile sensing. The AE01 captures hand motion through 22 encoders and supports fingertip haptic feedback.
