Global humanoid robot market revenue in H1 2026 tops full-year 2025: report

By AI123

On September 28, Frost & Sullivan released its 2026 Global Humanoid Robot Market Research Report, showing that global humanoid robot sales reached 36,000 units and revenue totaled $540 million in the first half of 2026, exceeding the full-year 2025 levels of 35,000 units and $500 million.

The report said the industry is moving from technical validation and small-batch delivery toward scaled production and commercialization. Revenue is becoming increasingly concentrated in embodied-intelligence and full-size humanoid robots. In H1 2026, revenue from embodied-intelligence products rose to $448 million, accounting for 83% of the total, while full-size models generated $408 million, keeping their revenue share above 75%. Pre-programmed and small-size models still accounted for a large share of unit sales but contributed far less revenue.

By application, entertainment and performance remained the largest scenario by volume, while production and operation was the fastest-growing scenario. Revenue from production settings reached $78 million in H1 2026, up 65.9% from $47 million in full-year 2025. The report said production tasks show more direct value conversion and that demand in this segment is shifting from pilot testing to paid deployment.

Chinese vendors dominated the market in revenue terms. In 2025, all of the top five global humanoid robot vendors by revenue were Chinese companies, together holding more than half of the market. UBTech ranked first with RMB 870 million in revenue and a 24.8% market share, level with Unitree. In H1 2026, Chinese vendors again held the top five spots, with UBTech remaining first on RMB 620 million revenue and a 16.5% share. Overseas players such as Tesla Optimus, Figure AI and Agility were still mostly in prototype iteration and small-scale pilot stages, without significant third-party revenue.
