Faraday Future Targets Robot Factory Operations by End of 2026
At the International Conference on Intelligent Robots and Systems (IROS) in Pittsburgh on September 30, Faraday Future announced the second-phase execution plan of its "Built in USA" acceleration program, targeting robot factory operations by the end of 2026.
The plan covers accelerating the production of Next Futurist and Next Aegis series products, filing a conditional approval application with the U.S. Federal Communications Commission (FCC) for robot products, and advancing supply chain, compliance certification, and manufacturing capacity building. The company expects the first new EAI-embodied product to come off the line in the first quarter of 2027.
Faraday Future also said its FFAI unit has signed a non-binding agreement under which AIxC, soon to be renamed FFR, would acquire FFAI's robotics assets and business in an all-stock deal valued at approximately $200 million. FFR aims to become the first pure-play robotics ecosystem company on the U.S. stock market under its "four-core full intelligence" strategy.
