Foxconn September Revenue Up 38.4% on Strong AI Server Demand

By AI123

Foxconn (Hon Hai Precision Industry) reported revenue of NT$1.16 trillion for September, up 38.4% year over year, driven by robust demand for AI servers.

The company's third-quarter revenue reached approximately NT$3.027 trillion (about $95.5 billion), a 47% increase from a year earlier and above the average analyst estimate of NT$2.83 trillion. For the first nine months of the year, Foxconn's cumulative revenue rose 39.5% to NT$7.67 trillion. The company said it expects AI-related business to maintain growth momentum in the fourth quarter.

As an assembly partner for Nvidia, Foxconn has benefited from global cloud infrastructure spending in recent years. Bloomberg Intelligence expects the company to sustain 25% to 35% revenue and profit growth in the coming years on the back of AI infrastructure demand.

A significant portion of Foxconn's revenue still comes from manufacturing iPhones for Apple, a lower-margin business. Apple has been diversifying its supply chain, bringing in manufacturers including Luxshare Precision. Balancing its traditional contract manufacturing business while expanding into higher-value AI infrastructure remains a key challenge for Foxconn.
