NVIDIA Releases Four Open Source DSX AI Factory Components to Accelerate Cloud Cluster Deployment

By AI123

On October 12, NVIDIA announced at the Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit the release of four open source software components for DSX AI Factory, covering switch configuration, GPU cluster stress testing, rack firmware management, and bare-metal deployment. Developed from NVIDIA DGX Cloud operational experience, the components help cloud service providers turn hardware into production clusters within hours.

Alongside the software release, NVIDIA contributed Vera Rubin rack and compute tray designs to OCP, with the updated MGX 1.2 specification supporting rack deployments up to 250kW. The company also announced open standards with AMD, Google, Meta and others for AI infrastructure power, cooling and physical layout.
