Workday Signs Deal to Acquire AI Identity Platform C1.ai

Workday announced on Oct. 13 that it has signed an agreement to acquire C1.ai, an identity and access management platform built for employees and AI agents. Workday is a major provider of cloud-based financial management and human capital management software.

C1.ai automatically grants or revokes access to email, CRM, code repositories, financial systems, and cloud infrastructure based on changes in job roles and tasks.
