Huace Unveils AI-Generated 'Journey to the West' Animated Series Trailer at MIPCOM

At the MIPCOM autumn television content market in Cannes on October 14, Huace unveiled the trailer for "Journey to the West: The Lost 500 Years," a 3D animated series entirely generated by AI. The series, developed by Huace, adapts the classic Chinese novel "Journey to the West" and is one of the concrete projects under Huace's strategic partnership with Utopai Studios.

According to the company, the series is expected to premiere in 2027, with a theatrical version also under exploration. Positioned as an AIGC-driven premium mid-length series, it consists of six 15-minute episodes focusing on the 500 years Sun Wukong spends beneath the Five Finger Mountain.
