Elon Musk Says Team Is Building Hagglebot, an AI Negotiation Bot for Businesses

Elon Musk said in a post on X on Oct. 17, 2026, that his team is devoting significant resources to developing Hagglebot, a dedicated negotiation bot for business scenarios. The bot is designed to help companies negotiate prices and secure better deal terms, with Musk saying he hopes it will improve corporate cost efficiency.

Musk estimates Hagglebot could lift corporate cost efficiency by 5% or more, which he said could translate into annual savings of up to $6 trillion when measured against global GDP. The remarks came in response to a user's post introducing Grok Bots, in which the user claimed Haggle Bot had saved the team more than $100,000 in its first week of use.

Hagglebot is positioned for enterprise commercial negotiations rather than general chat functions.
