At the "Semiconductors Driving Humanoid Robots" conference in South Korea on October 16, Intel Senior Vice President Cho Min-sung said the company plans to launch the "Nova Lake" processor for physical AI in early 2027.
He added that Intel will introduce "Razor Lake AX" for physical AI in 2028. The platform is expected to deliver up to 700 TOPS of total computing power, significantly higher than Panther Lake's 180 TOPS. According to current leaks, Razor Lake AX will be Intel's first commercial SoC with large memory bandwidth and a large integrated GPU, combining standard Nova Lake cores with 16 or 32 Xe3P cores, which significantly improves graphics and AI inference capabilities.
