On the afternoon of October 19, MiniMax officially claimed ownership of Space Bunny, an anonymous model that has drawn significant attention in the developer community, by posting a short video with the caption “Welcome back, Space Bunny” on its official account.

Since its launch in late September, the model quickly gained traction, reaching the top spot in daily token call volume on OpenRouter and OpenCode within three days, alongside DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and GLM 5.3 Flash in the top three.
