Blackwall raises $100M at $2.2B valuation to secure web infrastructure from AI agent traffic
Estonian cybersecurity company Blackwall announced on October 20, 2026 that it has raised $100 million in a Series C round led by AVP, with participation from existing investors Dawn Capital, MMC Ventures and Tera Ventures. The company is now valued at $2.2 billion, roughly four times its valuation after its previous round in 2025.
Blackwall builds web traffic security tools for hosting providers, helping websites cope with the surging volume of bot traffic, particularly traffic generated by AI agents. Instead of selling directly to websites, the company works through hosting, managed service and cloud providers, offering a customizable bundle of security components that partners can white-label and resell to their own clients.
The company uses digital fingerprinting to identify the software behind requests, and applies its own AI models at customer endpoints to analyze the intent and behavior of incoming traffic, distinguishing legitimate visitors and authorized AI agents from malicious bots. Its services include threat intelligence, certificate management, DDoS protection and traffic routing.
CEO Nikita Rozenberg said that as AI agents begin transacting with websites on behalf of users, systems will eventually be needed to manage which agents get access, on what terms and how payments are authorized. The fresh funding will be used to expand operations in North America, Europe, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, and to build more security tooling for hosting, cloud and managed service providers.
