Nvidia Invests in Four German Startups as Part of $10B Europe Plan
At the “Invest in Germany” summit held in Berlin on October 19, 2026, Nvidia announced investments in four German startups spanning robotics, medical AI, video generation, and satellite technology. The companies are Agile Robots, Avelios Medical, Mirelo, and Reflex Aerospace; specific investment amounts were not disclosed.
Agile Robots develops AI-powered robots for manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare. Avelios Medical builds AI-driven hospital management software. Mirelo works on AI models for video and audio generation, while Reflex Aerospace designs and manufactures satellites.
The investments are part of Nvidia’s broader European investment plan of nearly $10 billion, which is intended to support companies, universities, and research institutions across Europe. A week earlier, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced investments in four French startups during a visit to France and held talks with President Emmanuel Macron on AI development.
The company also announced an AI factory collaboration with Siemens at the summit and joined the German government in advancing “physical AI” development targeting robots, machinery, and vehicles. Germany’s Ministry of Economics signed a memorandum of intent with Nvidia, though terms were not disclosed. The partnership will extend the existing framework between Nvidia and Germany’s “Platform Industrie 4.0.”
Huang said at the summit that AI enhances human abilities rather than replacing professional expertise, describing it as a “new tool” for businesses. He also said Germany’s traditional strengths in manufacturing, mathematics, and science would be amplified by AI.
