Zhiyuan to Roll Out Seven Embodied AI Releases Starting Oct 22, With 24-Hour Live Convenience Store Test for G2 Robots
As a prelude to the 2026 AGIBOT Innovation Day, Zhiyuan announced that it will launch “AI WAVE” on October 22, 2026, releasing seven achievements covering datasets, an operation platform, robot hardware, an agent framework, a simulation platform, a foundation model, and a collective experience learning (CEL) paradigm. The company said the releases represent its full-stack embodied AI technology layout.
According to the schedule, October 22 will bring the Physical Reasoning dataset with 150 hours of real-robot data; October 23 will see Genie Studio 2.0, a one-stop embodied intelligence operation platform; October 26 will feature G2 Max, an industrial embodied robot for heavy-load tasks; October 27 will introduce Genie Master, an agent framework aiming to achieve Physical RSI (Physical Recursive Self-Improvement) in real business scenarios; October 28 will unveil Genie Sim with an upgraded self-developed physics engine, claiming over 95% sim-to-real consistency in complex tasks; October 29 will present the foundation model; and October 30 will introduce the CEL paradigm, described as the first robot learning paradigm validated on a cluster of over 100 real robots.
Zhiyuan emphasized that large-scale robot deployment depends on full-stack coordination rather than single-point breakthroughs. To test the technologies in real-world conditions, six G2 robots will work in an actual convenience store from November 2 to 3, 2026, during a 24-hour live-streamed session covering four shifts: lunch rush, evening rush, overnight duty, and breakfast preparation. Their tasks will include restocking shelves, organizing goods, preparing hot food, handling trash, making coffee, and greeting customers.
