On October 21, 2026, the AI-Driven Future Simulation Technology Forum was held at the Chongqing Science Hall. As a parallel forum of the 2026 World Science and Technology Development Forum, it was hosted by the Asian Simulation Alliance and co-organized by multiple universities and research institutions, attracting more than 300 representatives from domestic and international academia, industry, and scientific organizations.

The forum focused on the deep integration of AI with modeling and simulation, covering topics such as digital twins, industrial intelligent agents, world models, and trustworthy AI. Activities included international standard exchanges, unveiling ceremonies for cooperation platforms, keynote speeches, and panel discussions.

During the international standards session, ISO 21175-1:2026, titled "Heterogeneous Manufacturing Platform Simulation Collaborative Environment: Part 1," was released. The standard was led by a Chinese scientist team with contributions from international experts, providing a unified framework for cross-platform simulation and promoting model reuse, tool integration, and resource sharing. The chairman of the Asian Simulation Alliance highlighted it as the first ISO standard in the manufacturing simulation field led by China.

The forum also inaugurated the Asian Simulation Alliance Member Home at Chongqing University of Technology and internship bases at Chongqing University and Wuhan University of Science and Technology. In addition, the 2026 World Simulation Congress was announced to be held in Hangzhou in November 2026.
