Zhiyuan Launches Genie Master Framework, Lets Robots Self-Evolve in Real Stores

By AI123

On October 27, Chinese robotics company Zhiyuan launched Genie Master, an embodied agent framework that enables robots to acquire new skills while working. The framework is first deployed on the Spirit G2 robot, which has been operating at a real convenience store without manual demonstrations or debugging.

According to the company, the robot can identify causes of failure, adjust its strategies, and accumulate experience, achieving continuous self-evolution with no human in the loop. Zhiyuan said this marks the first time Physical RSI (embodied recursive self-evolution) has been validated in a real business scenario, moving beyond simulation environments and laboratories. On October 26, the company also released the Spirit G2 Max, a heavy-duty robot for industrial scenarios such as depalletizing, material handling, and production line feeding.
