On October 16, Faraday Future and FF EAI Robotics unveiled humanoid robot FF Nova ($2,490) and FF Nova Mini for Physical AI education. FF Nova will roll out in three phases, starting with 100 units for developers and educators, then a full release, and finally a consumer version.
On September 30, during the IROS conference in Pittsburgh, Faraday Future unveiled the second-phase execution plan of its "Built in USA" acceleration program, including advancing the production of Next Futurist and Next Aegis series products and filing for conditional FCC approval of robot products. The company targets putting its robot factory into operation by the end of 2026, with the first new EAI-embodied product expected to roll off the line in Q1 2027.
On September 29, FF announced a strategic upgrade of its automotive business from an EAI automaker to a Robotaxi shared network and smart cabin technology operator, partnering with Roboshare to promote car sharing, including connecting to the Cybercab network, deploying FF smart cabin technology to other intelligent vehicles, and integrating its own models into the Robotaxi network, while expanding Physical AI-related industrial investment and ecosystem synergy.
FF announced that it has signed a non-binding term sheet with Nasdaq-listed AIxC to merge FFAI's robot assets and business into AIxC (to be renamed FFR) for independent listing at a market valuation of $200 million, aiming to become the first pure-play stock of the four-core all-intelligent EAI robot ecosystem. The deal is subject to a final agreement, approvals from special committees of both boards, and regulatory clearance.
