Jiang Weiran, Vice President of R&D at Farasis Energy, said at the IHR 2026 Second International Humanoid Robot Summit that humanoid robots still need to pass the dual threshold of cost optimization and real value creation before true mass production, and advised companies expanding overseas to deeply integrate into local markets. The company has launched its first-generation hybrid solid-liquid battery for humanoid robots with an energy density exceeding 330Wh/kg, with samples sent to customers including UBTech and XPeng; its first-generation sulfide all-solid-state battery has completed 400Wh/kg pouch cell preparation, with related products also sampled to leading customers.
