Amazon announced plans to invest over €16 billion in Germany in 2027, covering cloud computing and AI infrastructure, logistics, low-orbit satellites, and streaming content production, marking its largest single-year investment commitment in the country. Of this, €4.8 billion will expand the AWS Europe (Frankfurt) region, and a second robotics and AI research laboratory will be established in Berlin, with logistics projects expected to create more than 3,000 jobs.
