The U.S. Navy announced the establishment of the Robotics and Autonomous Systems Warfare Development Center (RASWDC) at Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek, Virginia, to prepare robotic systems for fleet deployment. The center will train sailors on autonomous technology, develop teaching curricula, set operational concepts and rules, and test emerging systems in simulated threats and communications-degraded environments, eliminating underperformers.
