Pinterest has launched Beauty Guides, a feature powered by its visual intelligence and generative AI technology Pinterest Intelligence, that turns beauty inspiration Pins into executable plans including salon terminology, time estimates, price ranges, and maintenance requirements. Users can view the guides by tapping the in-app "Get the Guide" button, and the feature initially covers hairstyle, hair color, nail shape, and nail finish Pins.
On Thursday, Pinterest announced the beta launch of "Restyle," a new consumer-facing feature powered by Pinterest Intelligence, in the U.S. and Canada. The feature lets users upload room photos and use AI prompts to add or replace furniture, decor, change lighting or paint colors to visualize different styles; Pinterest Intelligence combines Nvidia Blackwell GPUs, Nvidia Dynamo, open source models, and Pinterest-built technology, and the feature was teased at the annual Pinterest Presents event.
