At the 2026 China Listed Companies High-Quality Development Forum on September 10, Horizon Robotics executive Xu Jian reviewed the company's 2015 goal of designing dedicated brain chips for robots, disclosed that Journey series chip shipments surpassed 15 million units serving over 40 automakers, introduced the HSD solution based on Journey 6 chips and the fourth-generation BPU Riemann architecture designed for physical AI, and said the company will open its toolchain and foundation models while sharing views on scaled autonomous driving and software-hardware ecosystem collaboration.
